I am a growth marketer specializing in improving marketing outcomes through unique segmentation and targeting strategies. My career arc is that of a B2B account manager who disliked how classical marketing was managed so I tried to change it. I wanted to (and still drive towards) increasing marketing accountability to sales. Prior to my MBA, I used to run a startup called PortrayMe- It was a creative + analytical marketing agency that helped our clients drive revenue through digital marketing.
Currently I'm a growth marketing manager at Google for Education*. I work at the intersection of field marketing (events/ product launches), marketing operations (segmentation analytics, CRM, GDPR ,CCPA, salesforce stuff) and media (digital marketing analytics, success metrics, impact) for Google's Global education initiatives globally.
My biggest success so far was interviewing for + working at an NYC startup called Neverware.
Neverware built an Operating system that converts your existing PC's/ Mac's to Chrome devices. I was managing demand gen/ growth there through the pandemic and we figured out how to beat the slump. August 2020 was our best month in the company's history (rev almost equal to entire 2019) and Sep 2020 was a +30% on that. A marketing team of 3 + sales team of 8 figured out how to do it :) Our success propelled us to get acquired by Google in late 2020.
