The Opportunity

Are you a bold and imaginative writer/videographer with a passion for storytelling? Adobe is seeking a Communications Intern to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. This remarkable opportunity will allow you to engage with groundbreaking new technologies and the research scientists and engineers who build them, crafting compelling stories that showcase our innovative research and outstanding people. You’ll have the chance to push boundaries and build original multimedia content that resonates across our social and web channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and report on compelling stories related to Adobe’s research and people
  • Build written content and short videos with a quick turnaround time for social media and web platforms
  • Collaborate with technical teams and collaborators at various levels, from individual contributors to leadership
  • Develop and execute on social media strategies to deploy engaging content for a range of platforms and audiences
  • Produce multimedia-rich content, including fast-paced, short videos, to improve our digital presence
  • Track metrics and report on results for your content

What you need to succeed

  • Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or relevant experience
  • Training and experience in journalism and/or science communications, including a portfolio of published clips and multimedia work
  • Outstanding writing and visual storytelling skills, including proficiency in crafting web-based stories and short-form video content
  • Ability to work within deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Strong collaboration skills, and comfortable working with collaborators and stakeholders from different backgrounds
  • Proven experience in communicating about innovators and scientific or technology breakthroughs
  • Demonstrated ability to produce short written pieces as well as multimedia content that gets noticed in today’s digital environment

 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $45.00 — $55.00 hourly. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay rate for your job location during the hiring process.
