Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Program Coordinator – Finance & Commercial Development Program located in Houston , TX or San Ramon , CA / May 28th, 2021 through June 6th, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time).
Chevron’s Finance & Commercial MBA Program (FCMP) is a two-year rotational development program and has been a primary source of senior leadership in the company since the Program’s inception in 1946. As a Program Coordinator for the FCMP, you will be managing relationships with current program members and recruiting new program members from top MBA schools around the country, amongst other responsibilities. You will report to and partner with the FCMP Manager to execute all FCMP activities and hiring. High level responsibilities include:
Own relationships with top MBA universities to coordinate recruiting activities and interviews;
Advise Program Manager on FCMP strategies for attracting and retaining candidates;
Create and manage annual intern programming and experience;
Represent the FCMP at diversity conferences and other internal/external events;
Cultivate relationships with current program members, senior leaders/admins, and others to promote the FCMP;
And develop event programming across Finance development programs.
With the FCMP, you will be exposed to all aspects of Chevron, make a direct and meaningful impact, and interact with the highest levels of management.
Bachelor’s or higher degree
3+ years of relevant professional experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Relationship building and relationship management experience

Knowledge or interest in full-cycle talent management and employee development
Clear and concise verbal and written communication in all directions and across stakeholders
Works well within and across teams to build collaborative working relationships in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders; demonstrates strong stakeholder focus and understanding
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, organizational skill, and multi-tasking. Understands and uses data to inform approaches, make improvements, and influence others
Able to effectively manage multiple tasks to completion under tight deadlines; shows accountability and proactively manages work and processes within and across teams by setting expectations and aligning on shared goals and outcomes
Flexibility to travel domestically for on-site engagements
