Position Summary
NBOME is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team Medical Education Account Specialist.
This position serves as a trusted partner to the osteopathic medical schools, ensuring exceptional client experiences and driving success through strategic account management. This role combines relationship-building, problem solving, and consultative support to help clients achieve their educational goals.
This position is located in the Rosemont/O’Hare area of Chicago.
Hybrid work schedule with remote optional days (Monday & Friday) and mandatory in office days (Tuesday-Thursday)
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for medical school clients, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
- Understand client needs and proactively offer solutions to enhance their experience.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with client objectives and organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for expanded engagement and value-added services.
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and ongoing support for academic partners.
- Ensure timely resolution of inquiries and issues with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (client services, product, IT, communications) to deliver seamless service.
Data & Reporting
- Monitor account performance metrics and prepare reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Use insights to recommend strategies for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2+ years in account management, client success, or related role – preferable in medical education or healthcare.
- Strong Communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build trust with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with data analytics is a plus
- Success in managing multiple clients in an academic medical or healthcare setting
- Minimal travel and flexible work schedule availability (weekends, evenings)
