Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in support of our Civil and Commercial Satellites Business Unit. This individual will report to the Director of Business Development and support all business development activities. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting edge space exploration, communications, science, and satellite servicing programs. This role will be located in Dulles VA. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Identifying and implementing business development projects in support of NASA, NOAA, global telecom providers, and the Defense and Intelligence communities.

Entering, maintaining, exporting, and analyzing big data using the Salesforce sales and customer relationship management modules.

Qualifying, sales forecasting, and business capture process development and refinement.
-
Drawing insights from market and pipeline data that can be articulated in executive presentations.

Coordinating advertising of captures and technologies with our marketing organization.

Performing economic analyses on new or improved opportunities and/or business models and coordinating with internal departments in identifying/implementing business development projects.

Working with sales, marketing and potential customers to determine their needs.

Developing and disseminating information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business or a related field.
-
Self-starter who is results oriented, curious, and eager to help Northrop Grumman grow its civil and commercial portfolio.

Strong analytical skills and experience cutting and breaking down big data.
-
Expertise using pivot tables and advanced formulas and generating dynamic charts and graphs in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:

MS/MBA is desirable
-
Familiarity with Salesforce sales and customer relationship management modules.

Space industry experience.
-
Former NASA experience.
-
Former Defense and/or Intelligence Community experience.

Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI polygraph.
