Senior Value Advisor – High-Volume
Job Description and Expectations
Largely anchored on the Industry and Value Advisory Practice, SAP is the enterprise software industry benchmark for value-based selling and maintains this leadership through strength of industry, a proven methodology, unique collaborative benchmarking tools and extraordinary talent.
SAP is seeking to expand its North America Value Advisory Practice with Value Advisors in the newly formed High-Volume Value Advisory team who will be tasked with supporting the high-volume business in the General Business and Large Enterprise space. These Value Advisors will be responsible for helping companies transform their organizations by collaboratively developing justifications for technology investment decisions by aligning solutions and business outcomes to strategic imperatives and building business cases. This includes the identification of value possibilities, shaping the opportunity value and building out the compelling drivers for a business transformation. Successful Value Advisors provide strategic solution advice and expert consultation to support business process performance improvement programs and digital transformations.
-Leading customer engagements virtually to assess strategic objectives, identify key improvement opportunities, conduct benchmarking and business cases, and present executive-level justification for change utilizing a templatized approach to deal execution.
-Support the development of SAP High Volume Value Advisory practice (evaluation and development of tools, process and templates) for high volume cloud first deals
-Develop industry relevant field content for this market segment and enable field sales teams on a new go-to-market paradigm of becoming self-sufficient.
-Minimum 7 years of professional experience in operations or management consulting. Sales experience required.
-Diverse industry experience required.
-Proven success with challenger-sales type engagements.
-Exemplary research and authoring skills with a strong emphasis on synthesis and simply representing complex scenarios.
-Proven consultative engagement approach: identify the need for an engagement, then shape, sell and run the engagement.
-Strong project management, group management and facilitation skills.
-Design Thinking or similar methods a strong plus.
-Experience in diverse technology landscape and process/technology integration issues, SAP technologies preferred.
-Fluency in any foreign language an asset.
-Strong understaning on Excel and Powerpoint
-MBA or equivalent degree required from a top University.
