Role Responsibilities
- Support R&D experiments for medical devices by following strict safety and quality procedures.
- Help maintain lab instruments, data acquisition systems, and EMI/EMC testing equipment.
- Assist in testing electronic subsystems for reliability, compliance, and product performance.
- Build simple test fixtures and perform hands on electronics work like soldering and debugging.
- Use tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data loggers for testing and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to root cause investigations for electronic failures in prototypes or test samples.
- Help develop or update test plans and support accurate test documentation and reports.
- Work collaboratively with design/product engineers and technicians in a regulated, quality focused environment.
- Good documentation practices, including writing test protocols, generating final reports, and documenting meeting minutes.
After 2–3 Years (Based on Interest and Performance)
- Design custom test fixtures or automation tools to support non-destructive dimensional analysis.
- Perform root cause investigations independently, present findings & recommend solutions to cross functional teams.
- Support design reviews, risk assessments, and requirements analysis for medical devices.
- Gain product development experience & actively contribute towards circuit design, writing firmware and software, printed circuit board design and fabrication.
- Perform design engineering as well as reverse engineering activities as part of medical devices product development.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering
- Ability to perform hands-on laboratory work in an engineering lab.
- Will be working on design verification, validation & testing of medical devices.

Required Skills & Interests
- Basic knowledge and experience with Analog hardware design and analysis, Embedded Systems (Microcontrollers, Arduino, Raspberry Pi), MATLAB, Python, or equivalent scripting languages
- Interest in the Medical Device Industry
Nice to Have
- Experience in schematic capture, circuit board design and fabrication (Altium, Cadence, KiCAD, etc)
- Coding in LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python for test automation
