The MBA internship at TikTok aims to provide students the chance to work with our clients and teams to address key business problems and identify areas of growth for the company. The Monetization Strategy organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. We are looking for entrepreneurial MBA Interns to join our monetization strategy team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts in North America. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future. Reponsbilities: • Act as the key strategy partner to our monetization team focusing on various advertiser segments • Partner closely with leadership to drive high impact projects • Own performance analysis, reporting and drive business review cadences • Set and manage performance goals for the monetization team • Measure and track business financial performance, ensure financial healthiness of business operations • Develop and optimize monetization processes and policies as the team scales • Assist in the development and planning of monetization strategy through analysis and research, and evolve insights into growth initiatives • Manage key initiatives on a project basis, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in the US and other international markets
• You must be a first-year student currently pursuing a full-time MBA. • Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2022 • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment. • 3+ years of sales strategy, growth strategy, sales finance, sales operations, business operations, product strategy, consulting, investment banking or related analytical experiences. High growth tech start-up experience and advertising experience preferred • Exceptional data analytics skills. Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as tableau preferred • Skilled project manager. Team-player with the ability to manage expectations across time-zones and cultures • Self-motivation, comfort with ambiguity and cross-cultural environment, adaptability to change, roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and other helpful qualities for a high-growth environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
