Position Information
- Position: Full-Time Commercial Real Estate Analytics Intern
- Duration: 10 weeks (June 2 – August 8, 2025)
- Location: 1111 North Loop West, Suite 1180, Houston, TX 77055
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break
Inside the Role: Responsibilities, Requirements & Rewards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and data analysis to identify potential real estate opportunities
- Compile industry reports and gather market intelligence for specific submarkets
- Develop and maintain property and market databases
- Assist with creating sales analytics and performance metrics
- Support the team with competitive market analysis and property comparables
- Analyze property and demographic data to support sales initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special research projects
- Learn about commercial real estate practices, terminology, and industry trends
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to think creatively and solve problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic to moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Meet, etc.)
Preferred Qualities:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, R, Python, etc.)
- Interest in commercial real estate and property development
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning
- Willingness to take initiative on projects
