Job Description:
As a Finance Intern, you will support the Finance team in various tasks, gaining valuable insights into debt management, financial planning, treasury operations and data analytics. This is an excellent opportunity for Master Level students or recent graduates pursuing a career in finance, FP&A, treasury or data analytics. This internship provides a comprehensive view of how capital is managed, deployed, and optimized within a real estate organization.
Key Responsibilities:
FP&A
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for real estate assets
- Support variance analysis and performance reporting
- Build and maintain financial models for property-level and portfolio analysis
Debt Management
- Track loan portfolios, including maturities, interest rates, and covenants
- Assist with debt servicing schedules and lender reporting requirements
- Support refinancing and capital structure analysis
Treasury
- Monitor daily cash positions and assist with cash flow forecasting
- Support liquidity planning and capital allocation decisions
- Help manage banking relationships and treasury operations
Data Analytics
- Analyze large datasets related to property performance, leasing, and market trends
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Automate recurring financial reports and improve data accuracy
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree or a recent graduate in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling preferred
- Exposure to data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
