Visitor parking is available in the Central Campus Garage, the underground garage beneath McNair Hall, home to Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business and the Virani Undergraduate School of Business. To park in this garage, enter from Rice Boulevard (Entrance #20) and turn right at the second stop sign. The building and entrance to the garage will be on your left.
Within the Central Campus Garage, the CDO is located near the South Elevator. If your event is in Virani Hall, our new building adjacent to McNair Hall, we encourage you to park near the West Elevator.
Rice Business recruiting events are hosted across McNair Hall and Virani Hall. Download the floorplans to locate interview rooms, event spaces, and other common recruiting locations before your visit.
If your event is in Virani Hall, we recommend parking near the West Elevator.
If your event is in McNair Hall or you want to visit the CDO, we recommend parking near the South Elevator.

We recommend having your driver drop you at the main Rice Business entrance, across from the Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center.
By Plane
Houston has two airports: William P. Hobby (HOU), 11 miles to the south of campus and George Bush Intercontinental (IAH), 24 miles to the north. Intercontinental is a hub of global travel. Hobby is a hub for regional, domestic travel. Together they offer 1,000 flights a day in and out of Houston. Most major rental car companies have locations at both airports. SuperShuttle and taxis provide ground transportation services from both airports.
METRO Bus and Rail
The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, (METRO) provides bus and rail service from destinations around Houston. There is a METRO rail stop across the street from the main entrance of the Rice campus. The rail line travels up and down Main Street, serving downtown, the Texas Medical Center and Reliant Park.

You are welcome to work in one of our open workspaces at McNair Hall and Virani Hall. The O’Connor Atrium, Gibbs Gallery and many of our hallways have open table seating available. While these spaces are unavailable for reservation, if you require a private workspace, please reach out to your relationship manager or email us at employerrelations@rice.edu, and we can help coordinate.
