Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in payment solutions for Small, Medium (SME) and Global and Large (G&L) enterprises. The Corporate Solutions team within Global Commercial Products is responsible for developing and managing a suite of corporate payment and spend enablement solutions uniquely differentiated through innovative benefits, features and partnerships underpinned by seamless digital experiences.
The Sr. Manager of Fintech Partnerships will lead high visibility partnerships that help American Express meet our customer’s expense management needs. They will focus on bringing internal and partner capabilities together to create a seamless user experience and cohesive product vision. In addition, they will run point on several strategy projects to help determine the future vision of expense management at American Express. The ideal candidate will possess thought leadership, exhibit strong communication and organizational skills, and have a proven record of excellence operating independently and within a high performing team environment.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Provide strategic thought leadership to help define our expense management strategy
- Create partnership vision and help structure contracts to ensure vision is met
- Oversee day-to-day relationship with high visibility strategic partner
- Translate business needs into product roadmap and define best-in-class customer experience
- Own product positioning and go-to-market strategy in partnership with marketing
- Partner cross functionally with key stakeholders to deliver new digital products and features
- Develop executive-level decks to influence senior stakeholders and secure strategic buy-in
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy, product management or business development
- Strong strategic thinking with a track record of driving successful strategies or projects
- Proven ability to forge and maintain relationships and navigate a matrixed organization
- Superior communication skills with ability to translate detail and complexity into clear and influential arguments
- A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving digital innovation
- Customer-first mindset
- Demonstrates a deep interest and knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends
- Bachelor’s degree required

- MBA preferred
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
